My family has been growing, harvesting and pressing its own Extra Virgin Olive Oil since 1935. Our orchards are located in Sicily, Italy.
Papa Vince entered the US market in March 2013. Since then, the excitement that our customers share daily through emails, phone calls and in social media has catapulted us to expand our tent beyond Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
In 2016 we decided to partner with local artisans in Sicily to bring to you, our customer, the highest quality possible pastas, tomato sauces, vinegars, sea salt, marmalades and coffee, all made in Sicily with clean ingredients.
Papa Vince is a small family business. Our goal is to restore the joy of family and friends sitting around the table to enjoy an incredible meal - just like the ones Grandma used to make. Once you taste Papa Vince foods we are convinced you will become part of our family. It’s the Italian way – to make friends, with good food around the table.
I love them both, so light and delicious
Papa Vince Olive Lemon Oil - Clean Food, First Cold Pressed, Family Harvest Dec 2016, Sicily, Italy | Rich in Vitamins A, B6, E & K1 | Artisan, Unrefined | 3 fl oz
Not what I expected. Not bad, just not what I was looking for.
I regret not buying the larger size now that I tried the small bottle and discovered how wonderful this is. The lemon essence is strong without being overwhelming and there is no sour lemon taste. I do get a slightly bitter finish when tasting this plain, but it's not noticeable to me in use on food (I am very sensitive to bitter flavors). I made a sensational dressing using only a bit of this mixed with their regular evoo and it had plenty of the lemon evoo taste, so it doesn't take much to get the flavor and can be stretched, if you want. I readily recommend this and the plain evoo. I am buying the full size as soon as possible.
I liked the vinegar but it is not balsamic. I t is a nice re wine vinegar. You should clarify this in your ads.
Also, where is the DOP on your olive oil. It would help to know that the olive oil will be of consistent quality.
