RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT
Receipt of a deposit of $400 per person and a signed application ( which you will receive as soon as you make your $400 payment) will reserve your place on a Papa Vince LLC tour. We accept all major credit and debit cards in US dollars. This deposit is non-refundable. By signing the application, you are confirming that you have read and accepted Papa Vince LLC's tour terms and conditions.
The balance of the tour is due a minimum of 60 days before departure. If you sign up for a tour within 60 days of the tour departure, the deposit portion will be non-refundable. The final balance must be made by electronic ACH payment to Papa Vince LLC. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD OR MONEY ORDERS FOR THE BALANCE PAYMENT.
Missing the final payment deadline, as noted on your tour invoice and your initial confirmation letter, may result in being removed from the tour. It is your responsibility to guarantee that we receive payment in a timely manner.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
US citizens require a passport with at least 6 months remaining validity beyond the departure date when traveling to Europe. There are other requirements for non-US citizens. Please check these requirements immediately to ensure having the correct documentation for the trip.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN YOUR PAPA VINCE LLC TOUR
- Sightseeing tours led by local guides including admissions to sights seen as a group.
- All breakfasts, lunches, and dinners as indicated in each tour description except during “free time” (usually one day of the tour).
- Accommodations each night in family-run bed and breakfasts, often on active farms where you can experience the traditional Sicilian way of life.
- Transportation between the airport and the lodging and return to the airport.
- All transportation required for group activities from the first lodging to the last lodging of the tour.
- All tips for luggage handling, door attendants, housekeepers and restaurant personnel.
- Any tour literature and maps applicable to your specific tour.
LAND AND AIR
- The price quoted by Papa Vince LLC does not include your airfare from the US to Sicily.
- Papa Vince LLC Tours will meet you at the airport when you arrive in Sicily.
ERRORS
In the case of a printing, typographical error, computer error or human billing error, Papa Vince LLC reserves the right to invoice guests with corrected billing.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
If you cancel your reservation, the cancellation charges shown below will apply. Cancellation charges are based on the number of days from the time Papa Vince LLC is notified of your cancellation, to the start of the service provided.

The cancellation will be effective on the date that written notification is received by Papa Vince Tours LLC. Final tour payments may be eligible for a portion of refund if there is legitimate, unforeseen medical or family emergency.
CHANGE IN PLANS / TOUR TRANSFERS
Up to 60 days prior to your tour’s departure, you can transfer to any other 2018 tour if places are available. All transfer requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis and are subject to Papa Vince LLC’s management team’s approval.
HOLIDAYS AND CHANGES
National or local holidays abroad may cause some facilities to be limited such as museums, sightseeing tours, and shopping. If this happens, Papa Vince LLC (wherever possible) will make minor itinerary adjustments to the schedule to minimize any inconvenience to tour guests. Papa Vince LLC does not give refunds for any unused tour features whether by customer’s choice, operational reasons or due to bad weather.
BAGGAGE AND INSURANCE
Due to the limited baggage area on transport vans, each tour guest is limited to one large suitcase (approximately 21”x14”x9”) and one small carry-on bag. The airlines are currently charging extra fees for over-weight and larger suitcases. Please check with your airline’s website for current information on baggage fees. Baggage taken is entirely at the owner’s risk. Papa Vince LLC is not responsible for any lost or damaged baggage.
You will want to pack light. Please note that on occasions you may have to carry your own bags from the van to your room which may include carrying it up many steep stairs. Please review clothing packing tips in Papa Vince LLC’s section on travel tips.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Papa Vince LLC strongly recommends that all tour guests purchase separate travel insurance to cover possible additional costs (airline tickets, loss of luggage, trip delay, medical evacuation etc).
ACCOMMODATIONS
Papa Vince LLC will make every effort to house its guests in quality lodging establishments that are dedicated to providing clean and comfortable accommodations with a high level of service.
Single supplements (single rooms) for solo travelers
Papa Vince LLC offers a limited number of single rooms. Single supplement prices are approximately $280 for a 7-night tour, depending on your tour selection. If you wish to guarantee a private room of your own, please discuss with a Papa Vince LLC tour agent for the most up-to-date single supplement price for your specific tour. Please note that while single rooms provide more privacy, they are often smaller than twin bedrooms and can be poorly located.
Triple Rooms Triple rooms
may be offered on some Papa Vince LLC tours. These rooms generally consist of a twin bedded room with a folding bed or cot for the third person. This may not be comfortable for three adults.
ACTIVITY LEVEL
These tours include moderate physical activity. Walking tours as well as walking on uneven walking surfaces/cobblestone roads should be expected. During the tour, you may need to stand or walk for as long as 3 hours either inside a museum or outside in all weather conditions such as hot sun or rain, etc. The lodgings do not generally offer elevators and you may have to walk up several flights of stairs to reach your room.
GUESTS NEEDING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
Papa Vince LLC regrets that it cannot make available any special individual help for tour guests for walking, getting on and off any transportation vehicles, dining, or any other personal needs to a tour guest. If a tour member needs such assistance, they must be accompanied by a qualified companion. Regretfully we cannot accommodate wheelchair guests. All tour guests certify not to have any mental, physical or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for himself/herself or any other guest.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Please inform Papa Vince LLC if you have any special dietary requirements including vegetarian, gluten-free or any food allergies. This information should be conveyed at the time of reservation.
CHILDREN
Children under the age of 18 must room with and be accompanied on the tour by a parent or guardian. Children between the ages of 8 to 11 sharing a room with 2 adults will be given a discounted rate. We regret that children under the age of 8 cannot participate in this program.
PARTICIPATION AND RIGHT TO EXCLUDE
Although we want everyone to have a good time, it sometimes happens that someone participating in a tour can misbehave or do things that are incompatible with the safety, comfort or convenience of other tour guests. We reserve the right in our sole discretion, acting in good faith, to decline to accept or to require any individual to withdraw from any tour. This refers to persons who are abusive to others or whose behavior disrupts the operation of the tour. You agree that in those circumstances, we have the exclusive right and discretion, to expel someone -even you- from a tour at any time, without any claims or complaints by you against us.
TOURS CANCELLED BY PAPA VINCE LLC
In the unlikely event that PAPA VINCE LLC has to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, the policy is as follows: the entire amount you have paid to Papa Vince for the applicable tour will be refunded to you within 14 days after the tour’s cancellation. Once this occurs, Papa Vince LLC and its representatives have no other obligations to tour members on canceled trips including any additional costs or fees related to the issuance and/or cancellation of airline tickets or other travel reservations not made by Papa Vince LLC.
REFUNDS
All refunds are based upon your understanding that your receipt of refund is on the express condition that you release us from all further liability and you waive all additional rights and remedies under this contract or any applicable state, federal or foreign law.
RESPONSIBILITY
Papa Vince LLC and its employees, shareholders, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, successors, agents and assigns (collectively “Papa Vince LLC”), does not own or operate any entity which it travels to or does provide goods or services for your trip including, for example, lodging facilities, motor coach or other transportation companies, guides or guide services, local ground operators, providers or organizers of optional excursions, food service providers etc.
All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, Papa Vince LLC is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity or of any third party.
In addition and without limitation, Papa Vince LLC is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to person or property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, but not limited to, acts of nature or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or there failure of airplanes or other means of transportation, or for any failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.
Please be advised that foreign air-conditioning systems in public places, hotels, and motorcoaches are not up to U.S. standards and are subject to laws prohibiting their use in certain time periods.
If due to weather, flight schedules or other uncontrollable factors, you are required to spend an additional night(s), you will be responsible for your own hotel, transfers and meal costs. Papa Vince LLC reserves the right to adjust the itinerary or trip features at any time and for any reason, with or without notice and /or to substitute hotels of a similar category. Papa Vince LLC is not liable for any such changes.
ARBITRATION AGREEMENT
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating in any way to these terms and conditions, to the brochure, to the website, or any other information relating in any way to the trip, or to the trip itself, shall be settled solely and exclusively by binding arbitration in Alabama, in accordance with the commercial rules of the American Arbitration then existent. Upon payment of a deposit, a Papa Vince LLC tour guest accepts the above terms and conditions of the arbitration agreement.
