This ancient technique retains the natural BRAN and WHEATGERM of the wheat in the semolina both of which are so important to aid digestion, boost the immune system, and help in efforts to lose weight.

 ABOUT TUMMINIA GRAIN - an ancient grain from Sicily that has recently surged in popularity due to its health benefits.  It must be grown organically, does not tolerate pesticides, herbicides or insecticides.

About Papa Vince

 

My family has been growing, harvesting and pressing its own Extra Virgin Olive Oil since 1935. Our orchards are located in Sicily, Italy.

Papa Vince entered the US market in March 2013. Since then, the excitement that our customers share daily through emails, phone calls and in social media has catapulted us to expand our tent beyond Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

In 2016 we decided to partner with local artisans in Sicily to bring to you, our customer, the highest quality possible pastas, tomato sauces, vinegars, sea salt, marmalades and coffee, all made in Sicily by locals with local products. 

Papa Vince is a small family business. Our goal is to restore the joy of family and friends sitting around the table to enjoy an incredible meal - just like the ones Grandma used to make. Once you taste Papa Vince foods we are convinced you will become part of our family. It’s the Italian way – to make friends, with good food around the table.

My Favorite Pasta

I love Busiate Tumminia macaroni from Papa Vince. Made from an ancient whole grain grown in Sicily, it lends itself to just about any kind of sauce. Although I have prepared it with about five or six different sauces, my favorite is a mixed, wild mushroom sauce. Deliziosa!!

I love REAL olive oil

It makes a difference to me to see a harvest date on an olive oil bottle. Once I saw the date on my Papa Vince olive oil bottle I happily cracked it open. Ahhh, the smell and then the pouring consistency
was delightful. I poured it over fresh salad leaves and warm pasta with garlic/basil/radiccio and I was in heaven. Thank you

Finished the first bottle and bought 2 more.Thinking of buying 2 more before they run out. I never knew what real EVOO tasted like before as I always used the commercial store bought brands. And, I never knew about Harvest Dates, types of olives or that they were blended. What an education. I will never go back to using commercial oils. They can’t compare.
